What a pleasure it is to arrive at the club and see the aloes in full bloom. They are eye candy for fading eyesight!
Despite the change in the weather, there was a good turn out of bowlers for the tabs in competition sponsored by J Leslie Smith Inc and The Health Nut. The winners of the prizes sponsored by J Leslie Smith were John Withers, Pat Ciro and Barry Fairbrother. The vouchers sponsored by The Health Nut were won by Ray Bester, Rita Aitken and Mike Cain. Two lucky bowlers went home with the drawn prizes.

Sunday, 12 July – Fun bowls followed by a braai. All club members, past and present, are invited to join at 09h30.
Wednesday, 08 July – Tabs-in Competition sponsored by Halfway Toyota Howick.
Saturday, 11 July - Tabs-in Competition sponsored by The Lawnmower Shop, Giovision and Greendale Spar.
Registered bowlers are welcome to come along and join us for all sponsored competitions.
Wednesday, 22 July – all club members are invited to a finger lunch sponsored by J Leslie Smith. Watch the notice board for further details.
Regular start of play is as follows: Tuesday and Friday at 09h00 (dress is casual); Wednesday and Saturday at 13h30 (whites). Tabs must be in 15 minutes prior to commencement of play.
Visitors and prospective members are always welcome to join us on days when social bowls is played.
