Men’s and Ladies’ League games recommenced this past week. All three league teams were at home to their opponents.
The Men’s Second League team fared well against Hilton as did the Men’s Third League Team in their game against Richmond. The Ladies’ League team were beaten by Drakensberg South.
On Sunday, we hosted three sections of the NIBA Men’s Open Pairs. After the most welcome rain of the past week the greens were heavy and, as a result, they presented some unexpected challenges to the bowlers.
A few hard-working members of the club rose to the challenge of catering for all the bowlers and their efforts are greatly appreciated. It is really gratifying to know that some members will go the extra mile to welcome visitors and to assist with the additional duties which need to be carried out on these occasions. For
this, I thank them.

Wednesday, 27 February: Tabs In Competition sponsored by J Leslie Smith and The Health Nut. Tabs must be in by 13h15. Visitors are most welcome to join us for all sponsored competitions.
Regular start of play is as follows: Tuesday at 08h30 (dress is casual); Wednesday and Saturday at 13h30 (whites). Tabs must be in 15 minutes prior to commencement of play.
