So much learning is taking place as they measure, mix, sell and barter their way around the play/learning space. Play is learning. Play is growing. Play is developmentally appropriate for our tiny tots. Mathematic concepts, scientific concepts, language skills and social skills are all exercised and grown as they relish the idea of being a chef and running their own businesses. Providing proper tools and themes are simple yet effective to encourage and expand a play area into a play/learning sphere.
