The KhulaShanti indigenous forest walk is a 45-minute drive from Howick. Stop at PicklePot Cafe, on the R617 to ask for directions. The walk is open to the whole family – the cost of R200 pp contributes to our forest rehabilitation project. Open to all levels of fitness the walk is not particularly strenuous.
Come walk with me through our enchanted forest.
A silent stroll beneath a magical mist belt canopy of awe.
Giant trees, fronds of fern, birdsong and beauty to nurture and enrich your soul.
We will focus on the sensations of being amidst this pure and medicinal tonic of forest air. You will come away feeling rejuvenated and refreshed.
Forest walking and breathing allows us to deepen our understanding of being connected to everything.
Listen to the tranquil trickle of water.
Feel the shaded serenity of enormous Yellowwoods.
Breathe in fresh moist forest air.
Stop in silent bliss and notice the little things.
